Poodie hails from the city of Indianapolis, also known as “NAP” town is a city with a history rich in many things, corn, The Colts and auto racing mainly, but hip-hop… never. So when the 2011 mixtape “Come Here Streets” gathered radio rotation Hoosiers and hip hop lovers had to wake up and take notice. But what served as a wake up call for many was just a small portion of a much longer journey for Poodie. Poodie began to take his drive seriously in 2008 when he partnered with fellow artist Lil Nut. In 2011 Poodie along with The Hoodlumz dropped the mixtape, “Come Here Streets” achieving radio rotation and the respect of their fellow artists.

Poodie’s new mixtape “Section 8 Living”. The album will also feature a video documentary and book. The focus for “Section 8 Living” will be the things really going on in Naptown.” I don’t drive Bentley’s,” says Poodie,” so I talk about where I’m at.”
