Allen “Dj Boogie Bang” Humpries, raised on the Southside of Indianapolis, did not always want to be a dj. He started off as singer in a 4 member youth group called “One Self”. The group won multiple talent shows together, but as puberty came…the voices went. Starting in 8th grade he began to notice that all the “popular” kids would gather around a lunch table, with pencil in hand, make beats and rap to them. One day he decided to walk over and give a shot….he failed miserably. But that didn’t stop him from continuing to try.

As time past, his skill increased and by the time he was a graduated high school he had released 2 mixtapes under Frontline Record, ran by his former mentor SouthPaw. SouthPaw was the 1st to introduce him into Djing but he didnt take it to seriously. Boogie had made a few play around mixtapes afterwards but it wasnt until 2007 when he decided he wanted to do it full time. He released his 1st major mixtape “Presedential Swag” that Spring under Paperboy Ent, ran by Indy producer Trillion Kutz. 300 copies we’re passed out for free just in an effort to get his name out. Then he dropped his 2nd major mixtape, titled “Im On My Shit” hosted by radio personality B-Swift (wigSPLITTER Djs) , that year at the Black Expo. With 500 copies in a duffle bag he made sure that almost everybody that looked like somebody had one. That was all it took to get his name out because soon after friends request on Facebook started popping up like never before.

Soon after he linked up with his long time partners in crime Dj Fatz and Dj DayDay to form B.A.D Entertainment (Bout A Dolla or Broke Ass Deejays). They recently added radio personality Juan Hustle to the mix to form a new Power Team, #LokoGang.
